When I first met E & H, it was to photograph them for their maternity session along with their two kiddos.
We had laughs, were attached by bugs, and got some great shots all around.
I then had the pleasure of photographing her little bean when he came into this world (which I still need to blog!) and was beyond honoured that they considered me to photograph
his baptism as well.
Greek Orthodox baptisms are joyous events for the parents. They are giving their child unto Christ while cleansing his soul from the sins of Adam & Eve.
There are two sacraments involved, the Chrismation and Baptism. Submerged in water to be cleansed of their sins and then Chrismated with oil to receive the gifts of
the Holy Spirit.
It was a beautiful ceremony conducted by Fr. Ted Paraskevopoulos of Sts. Constantine & Helen’s Greek Orthodox Church.
After the ceremony all guests were invited to the reception held at Peter and Pauls Paramount location.
With plenty of food, and great music by the dj, it was a fantastic reception!
Thank you very much E & H for hiring me for this very special day!
Congratulations on the baptism of your beautiful boy!
